Tilda Toadstool is a frog on a mushroom that pops up and down. This pattern also comes with a mod to make a non-popping frog and mushroom separately for even quicker market makes!

This little Frog Pop (or not!) crochet pattern is also available as a bundle in the "Fergie and Friends" pack!

This is low-sew, only the flower is sewn on! The rest is all crocheted together. No special tools are needed for the popping frog, its construction is what gives it the pop!

It takes me a little over 1 hour to finish the pop, 45 minutes to finish the stand-alone mushroom and 25 minutes to finish the stand-alone frog!

Using Premier Parfait Chunky, a 4.5 mm hook, and the "yarn under" method, the finished popping frog measures roughly 6.5" tall when popped, 5.5" tall when closed and 3.5" in diameter. The stand-alone mushroom measures roughly 4.5" tall by 3.5" in diameter. The stand-alone frog measures roughly 2.5" tall and 2.5" in diameter. This is subject to change with varying yarn, personal tension and hook size.

This is an intermediate level pattern, written in U.S. terminology by a right-handed crocheter. You can use any yarn weight/type you want, but remember to adjust your hook size accordingly (see pictures above for recommendations).
